Imagimundo Art Fabrik is a multidisciplinary project that includes the development of four creative phases: the short film Reset; the dance-theater-multimedia piece Imaginarium Life; the feature film Imagimundo; and the publishing of The Exorcism of Ego, a collection of anti-poems.

For the production and elaboration of these four creative phases, the non-profit organization “Bistoury INC,” in collaboration with a group of artists, will work on the development these new proposals, which are all bound by the same story.

The first phase involves the making of a 12-minute short film named Reset (based on the screenplay Imagimundo, written by Carla Forte), which must be completed in a single day of shooting, with a minimal production crew and with no budget. It will be directed by Carla Forte.

The second phase involves a dance-theater-multimedia piece of one hour and twenty minutes of duration, named Imaginarium Life (based on the screenplay Imagimundo, written by Carla Forte), which will be directed by choreographer Alexey Taran, who will adapt the story to a new form of communication grounded on movement and space, breaking away with pre-established norms of theater and dance.

The third phase involves a feature film of one hour and twenty minutes of duration, named Imagimundo (based on the collection of anti-poems The Exorcism of Ego, written by Vicente Forte), which will be directed by Carla Forte. The movie will develop a new cinematographic focus, which will incorporate physical theater as an element of visual creation.

The fourth phase involves the publishing of a collection of anti-poems named The Exorcism of Ego, written by Vicente Forte. These will serve as supportive and inspirational texts for the construction and elaboration of the three previous phases.

In The Exorcism of Ego, the author attempts, through the use of anti-poetry, to give shape to the Buddhist concept of the “not-self” (Anatta), to expose the illusory character of the self, and to emphasize the suffering that results from ignoring the true nature of ego.
